At Saucha we are committed to crafting products that are vegan and cruelty free
Saucha soaps are free from the following:
Palm oil: Large areas of forest and other eco-systems with high conservation value have been cleared to make room for vast mono-culture oil palm plantations destroying critical habitat for many endangered species including rhino, elephant, tigers and gorillas.
Artificial fragrance: We use only pure essential oils of botanicals to scent our soaps, no nasty chemical fragrances.
Artificial colours: We use only natural plant based colourants that often contain their own benefits including clays and activated charcoal, this means that sometimes the colour may fade or not be uniform, but we are OK with this.
Parabens: Widely thought to cause skin irritations, allergic reactions as well as possible links to endocrine disruptions and particularly breast cancer.
Sulfates: Found in most rinse off products such as shampoos and skin cleansers sulfates are linked to skin allergies and irritations.
Petrolatum / Mineral Oils: Petrolatum, or petroleum jelly, is a semisolid mixture derived from refining crude oil, there are concerns that they may have carcinogenic side effects.
